The WENZEL Group have been at the forefront of measurement technology for over 50 years. WENZEL UK Ltd was founded in 1994 to further support the UK market for all of the WENZEL portfolio of products and to service our metrology range.
With our offices in Coalville, we are ideally situated to cover the broad range of markets in the UK. A team of 4 service engineers are located around the country for installation, maintaining and servicing our portfolio of inspection, measurement & metrology products.
We would love to welcome you to our Technology Centre, located in Coalville, Leicestershire.
At WENZEL we have a range of Coordinate Measuring Machines CMM's that suits all customers. From our traditional bridge CMMs to large gantry and twin column machines. Our LH range is even capable of sub-micron levels of accuracy for the tightest tolerances and can be fitted with the latest in sensor technology.
Metrology on the shop floor saves time and reduces scrap for manufacturers. Our shop floor measuring range consists of tactile and non-contact inspection for small to large parts. With wide temperature ranges and covered guideways, these machines are perfect for the toughest environments and bring metrology closer to production.
Our exaCT X-ray CT range varies from small desktop solutions up to our exaCT U for large parts. With source powers up to 300kV, even the thickest materials can be measured accurately and repeatable. Ideal for hard to reach internal measurements and void detection. Our exaCT range could be the solution for your industrial X-ray CT needs.
Our CORE CMM range comes with 5-axis measurement to measure even the most inaccessible features. Combining tactile and optical measurements in 1 program with the option for surface finish measurements too. The CORE is just as comfortable measuring the shiniest of metals as it is dull materials. With a protective curtain the CORE is shop floor ready to bring inspection in to production.
The system is characterized by sophisticated technology, high flexibility, precision, speed and reliability. The ergonomic design enables comfortable operation for the user. The scanner can easily be used in demanding environments for complex components and is the ideal tool for reverse engineering and a wide range of industrial and medical applications. The WENZEL mScan can be combined with a wide range of software products and impresses with its technical parameters as well as an extensive range of practical accessories.
At WENZEL we pride ourselves on our wide range of non-contact sensors. Ranging from optical surface finish sensors with nano-meter resolution up to the WM | LS600 capable of measuring large parts in super quick times. This large range of scanners allows us to offer the best solution to our customers. Line scanners can even work on the arm and CMM range to save the need on buying multiple units.
At WENZEL we have a range of inspection software options to make sure we offer the correct solution for the application. Our own in house developed software, WM | Quartis works across the WENZEL product range. Our hardware also works with 3rd party software such as Metrolog X4, Polyworks and Modus so we can offer the right solution to your individual needs.
For certain applications, non-contact inspection provides clear advantages over traditional tactile probing techniques. Thin sheet metal parts or components with large numbers of holes – sometimes as small as 0.5 mm– are parts which are not suited to tactile measurement.
The REVO-2 RVP probe adds non-contact inspection to the existing touch-trigger, high-speed tactile scanning and surface finish measurement capability of the REVO system and provide exceptional improvements in throughput and CMM capability by utilising the 5-axis motion and infinite positioning of the REVO-2 head.
HORST600 is an impressive machine, taking up a minimal amount of space, yet boasting a large workspace and high speeds. Therefore, it also works well as part of a robot cell. Paired with the right software features for pick-and-place processes, our most compact intelligent industrial robot is the perfect choice for parts handling.
HORST1500 is characterized by a work area that is optimized for loading machine tools and processing pallets. This makes it the best choice for efficiently automating the loading and unloading of tool machinery with the shortest ROI. The extremely compact and lightweight robot can be positioned directly in front of the machine and reach deep into it.
